Media competence to go: The magazine mediendiskurs has been asking key questions about media for over 25 years. As a forum for specialist knowledge and discourse, the online format focuses on perspectives of youth media protection, media education, media ethics, media policy and media science. The magazine is published by the association Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle Fernsehen (FSF).

The TYPO3 website has been given a new look in 2025. FSF was responsible for the concept and design. The technical implementation was carried out by kontur networx GmbH.

The CMS offers the option of accessing the entire color palette. This means that individual content elements as well as the menu, for example, can be freely edited. The website has also been optimized in terms of general responsiveness and usability.
