what does damas mean and what advantages does it offer?
DAMAS is a central database management system of Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH (TMB) in the state-wide tourism content network, which is used to manage tens of thousands of so-called POIs (points of interest) sights, tours and barrier-free offers with associated information (opening times, prices, etc.).
DAMAS is an in-house development by kontur networx on behalf of the TMB and contains data from the federal states of Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony.
The tourism data is presented via the TMB website(s) (e.g. www.reiseland-brandenburg.de), via the “DB Ausflug” rail app for Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania or the “MeinBrandenburg” software for touchpoints.
