The ITE is shaping the energy transition in an interdisciplinary way, combining research and practice and developing solutions for a Sustainable Energy System. The Research and Transfer Center is part of the West Coast University of Applied Sciences in Schleswig-Holstein.

The ITE presents its research projects and publications in a structured, clear and filterable way on the new website. The six main research areas run like a thread through the entire site. Using synergies and avoiding redundancies – that is the motto. Not only the design, based on the website of the partner institute “Deutsches Institut für Tourismusforschung” of the FH Westküste, but also the WordPress architecture were used and individualized.

In addition to the central & filterable research projects, there is a large online library with selected publications in the field of energy research. The CMS enables cost-efficient implementation and further development, especially with regard to updates, new features, SEO, interface design and usability. and the search as well as the development of special content and post types are integrated.

The website has been made accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and is also available in English.
