Pioneering research projects, exciting events and the latest trends in the industry – the German Institute for Tourism Research is a driver of innovation and, above all, a practitioner.
The institute’s new website offers structured and smart content, a high level of interactivity thanks to user-friendly filter options and fresh design elements relating to the topic of tourism research. The concept of the site was individually designed and interlinks all sections of the website: News, events, research projects, publications and contact persons. With the WordPress architecture – no problem!
In addition to the central & filterable research projects, there is a large online library with selected publications in the field of tourism research. The responsive design and data management were implemented on the basis of the WordPress content management system, which enables cost-efficient implementation and further development, especially with regard to updates, new features, SEO, interface design and usability.
The website has been made accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and is also available in English.
